Dr. Scott A. Siegel is a Pioneer of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS). Dr. Siegel has two locations: his full-scope OMFS practice is centrally located on Long Island in Melville, New York and his office on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is dedicated to Tongue and Lip Tie Laser Surgery. He is the only Tethered Oral Tissues (TOTs) CO2 laser surgeon in New York City and on Long Island. Dr. Siegel's groundbreaking work on the association of Reflux and Tongue and Lip Tie in breastfeeding infants is receiving global recognition.
As a solo practitioner, Dr. Siegel exclusively oversees each patient's treatment, while offering the highest standard (DDS, MD)
of medical and surgical expertise. A native of Long Island and third generation doctor, Dr. Siegel treats patients from the Tri-State Area, East Coast and internationally.

World Renowned Training
Dr. Siegel graduated as Class Valedictorian from the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook and earned his Medical Degree at Stony Brook School of Medicine. He then completed the world renowned six-year residency program in General Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Stony Brook University.
Scholarly & Surgical Distinction
Continuing his scholarly and surgical distinction in private practice, Dr. Siegel is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook Dental and Medical Schools and was honored as Attending of the Year by North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. Not only a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Siegel was also was accepted as a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons in 2011.
